Representative Projects

·  Entrepreneur in Residence – Serve as an Entrepreneur in Residence for UF Innovate’s Venture Capital fund, working to commercialize Intellectual Property developed at the University of Florida.  Advise and Mentor teams that license UF IP, assisting with business formation, capital acquisition, business planning and management team development.

·  Venture Development – Proactively sourced & executed strategic relationships for a FinTech Venture to expand its reach with larger national platforms, including Intuit Mint.  Evaluated additional opportunities to leverage the platform for non-profit fundraising campaigns.

·  Market Development – Served as a Partner Consultant to the global consulting firm Fujitsu to develop C-Level relationships in targeted markets and regions for its Mobility Digital Transformation business.

·  Partnerships  – Secured Partnerships and promotional alliances with local and national brands, including Microsoft BizSpark, Red Bull, Tesla, Seagram’s & Florida Blue in support of One Spark Ventures’ competitions and programs.

·  Angel Investing – Sourced accredited Angel Investors to participate in funding rounds for select ventures, including a venture that developed a simulation model to identify molecules with potential efficacy in treating Parkinson’s Disease

·  Interim Management – Served as Interim VP Business Development for a Waste Management backed venture (TrashCo) launching a new consumer product in the trash and recycling segment called Flings Pop-Up Bins. 

·  Advisory – Advising several tech-oriented scalable ventures on strategic business issues and capital formation as each seeks to leverage initial market traction to disrupt traditional business models

·  Acquisition - Advised the lead of a Japanese syndicate on the acquisition of the tele-healthcare division of Bayer, consulting on LOI, deal terms, purchase agreements, financial plans, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration.

·  JV Development - Recruited by the Tele-TV Venture partners, now Verizon’s FiOS division, to coordinate the launch of the Media division of the $500M JV with former executives who launched the Fox TV Network, managing the division’s operation and overseeing the Finance, Administration, IT and HR organizations
